A Comparative Anatomy of Dreams

Multimedia series and exhibition, 2019.

This show was built on the sensations, emotions, and fragmented narratives we experience in dreams, which seem analogous to me to the connections we enjoy in a state of flow.

All of the pieces in this project were 11 x 17 inches, partly to have one less thing to worry about but also because I hoped this restriction might act like the control in a scientific experiment. By keeping one variable constant it becomes easier to understand the processes behind these connections and strengthens the intentional and unintentional relationships between pieces, concepts, and dreams.
