Wonder/Wander 2013

Wonder/Wander is a multimedia installation & museum exhibit that translates biological research into human experience. Designed in collaboration with Priscilla Ahn and David Kim, the 3-room installation was installed in the Rhode Island School of Design's Edna Lawrence Nature Lab.

Using field samples and lab microscopy, the artists studied local marine plankton biodiversity in the Narragansett Bay and translated their research and process into macro- and microscopic scales. The installation included human-sized prints of microscopic zooplankton, interactive mosaics, live plankton samples, and a video-immersion room with a projection of plankton's natural predators (ctenophores), floating fabric, and a multichannel soundscape
