Exuberance is a retrospective exhibition comprising more than forty works (paintings, drawings, and photographs) from the first three decades of the artist’s creative life. Black-and-white film photographs of bodies hidden in urban landscapes face large-scale abstract paintings and small, bright works on paper. Everything connects through the physical—the direct trace of the artist's touch—and a cheeky exuberance that stands in defiance to a bleak, resigned world.
